How to apply

The application process can differ from organisation to organisation, but it will generally involve initial written applications, which are assessed against the criteria for the role to create a short-list. Short-listed candidates are then interviewed, usually by a panel of three people. The final decision about who to appoint is made by the Scottish Minister responsible for the public body, based on the panel's assessments.
